Finn Balor was born in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, on 25 July 1981. His real name is Fergal Devitt and is Irish by nationality. Currently, he is 42 years old and has a birth sign of Leo.

The names of his parents are Fintan Devitt (father) and Leonie Devitt (mother). He was raised up with his three brothers and a sister whose names are yet unknown. He is a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and a six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, having won the championship twice with Minoru and four times with Ryusuke Taguchi.

Shortly after joining the main roster, he became the first wrestler in WWE history to win a world title on their pay-per-view debut, the second-ever Irish world champion in WWE (after Sheamus), and the quickest wrestler in WWE history to win a world title at SummerSlam 2016 (27 days after his main roster debut).

He has also won two Intercontinental titles and one United States title. Moreover, he won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on September 2, 2023, to become a Grand Slam Champion.
