Regarding her career, Kiibus began skating lessons in 2007. In the 2015-2016 season, she competed in the advanced novice ranks before making her junior international debut the following year. Kiibus made her debut in both the ISU Junior Grand Prix series and the senior-level ISU Challenger Series in September 2018.
Moreover, Kiibus competed in her first ISU Championship, the 2019 World Junior Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, in March. She finished 26th in the short program and did not advance to the final round. She competed in the 2019 World Championships in Saitama, Japan, later that month.
Later, she advanced to the final round by finishing 23rd in the short program. Kiibus competed at both the senior and junior levels in the new season. She finished seventh at the 2019 JGP Chelyabinsk in Russia and eighth at the 2019 JGP Egna in Italy on the Junior Grand Prix circuit.
Furthermore, on the senior level, she competed in three Challenger events during the first half of the season, finishing sixth at both the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy and the 2019 CS Finlandia Trophy. She finished eleventh in the 2019 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb. Kiibus debuted at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics in January 2020, finishing fourteenth.
She then made her European Championships debut, finishing eleventh in the short program. Kiibus began her season at the 2020 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, which was attended only by skaters training in Europe due to pandemic-related travel restrictions.
