Eric Wareheim is a popular comedian, actor, writer, director, musician, and winemaker from the United States. Eric Wareheim is best known as a part of the comedy duo Tim & Eric alongside Tim Heidecker.

Early Life

Eric Wareheim was born on the 7th of April 1976, in Baltimore, Maryland, the United States of America. It makes him 46 years old as of 2022. and holds American nationality.

His birth name is Eric Alexander Wareheim and practices Christianity religion. Similarly, he has the zodiac sign of Aries and belongs to the White American ethnicity. Wareheim is the son of Dave Wareheim (father) and Edeltraud Wareheim (mother).

During this time, he met his comedy partner Tim Heidecker and produced his first film, shot on the Jersey Shore. After meeting with Tim, the duo decided to pursue their careers in the fields of acting, direction, and comedian.

Eric Wareheim and Tim Heidecker are the creators, writers, and stars of Tom Goes to the Mayor, a limited animation that was on the Adult Swim programming block on Cartoon Network.

The duo had mixed copies of an early version of the show to comedian Bob Odenkirk, who agreed to take on the project as the executive producer of the series and sold it to Cartoon Network.

On February 11, 2007, the duo released a sketch comedy series “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” which helped them to reach a wider audience. The series is a bent of a mix of “live action, sketch, animation, emotions, phone calls, love, etc.” according to their website.

The duo was also a co-creator, co-writer, co-director, and executive producer for the series and the series ran from 2007 to 2017.

In the year 2012, the duo co-writer, co-director, and producer; feature directorial debut in the film “Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie.” The movie premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was released in theaters on the 2nd of March 2012.

However, the movie received negative critical reviews on its original release. After that, the duo co-create and co-write a web series “Tim and Eric Nite Live!” which was aired on SuperDeluxe.

From 2013-2017, the duo starred and also  co-creator, co-writer, and co-director, and worked as executive producer in the horror comedy television series “Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories.”

Television and movies

In the 2004 animated television series “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” he lent his voice to the character Germ Master in an episode of Hypno-Germ.

He along with his friend Tim Heidecker, also directed the 2010 Super Bowl commercial, The Shuffle, for Boost Mobile and most recently a series of Old Spice commercials with actor Terry Crews.

The duo also appeared in an episode of the animated sitcom “The Simpsons” (2011) as Amus Bruse and Fois Garth. They appeared together as  Debt Collectors on the Adult Swim special, The Young Persons Guide to History.

In addition, they have made guest appearances in the movie “Let’s Go to Prison” (2016). As well as the duo was in the Scottish video game series VideoGaiden and a Version 2 episode of Mega64.

In the 2014 French-Belgian comedy film, he was cast as Henri. Wareheim has starred in a recurring role in Michael Cera’s and Clark Duke’s Internet TV show “Clark and Michael” as Randy, the neighbor of the titular duo.

Eric Wareheim portrayed the role of Arnold Baumheiser in the 2015 Netflix comedy-drama streaming television series “Master of None” for two seasons and also directed several episodes.

His rent television works include “Ugly Delicious” (2018), “Crank Yankers” (2019-2021), and “Beef House” (2020). In the series “Beef House” he also worked as co-creator and executive producer.


Apart from acting, Eric Wareheim played in several Philadelphia area bands, including the new wave punk band Twelve-Tone System, of which Tim Heidecker was also briefly a member.

He also played as a rhythm guitarist for the duo Adam and Justine in the 1990s. Moreover, he was also the principal songwriter for The Science Of and had been a member of Elements of Need, I Am Heaven, and briefly with the legendary Vampire-themed punk band Ink & Dagger. Moreover, he is currently a part of the band Sola.


In the year 2008, he won The Webby Award for Person of the Year and shared it with his partner Tim Heidecker. Moreover, Wareheim has been nominated for “Primetime Emmy Award” (2017), “PGA Award” (2018), and “The Streamy Award” (2014).
