Eric Trump is a well-known American businessman, philanthropist, and former reality television personality. Eric Trump is best known as the third child and second son of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021, and his first wife, Ivana Trump.
Early Life and Childhood
Eric Trump was born on the 6th of January 1984, in New York City, the United States of America. According to his date of birth, he is 40 years old and his birth name is Eric Frederick Trump. He has his belief in Christianity and has a zodiac sign of Capricorn. He belongs to a mixed ethnicity of German-Scottish descent.
He is the son of Donald Trump (father) and Ivana Zelnickova (mother). Professionally, his father is the 45th President of the United States and a businessman. While, his mother is a popular businessperson, writer, designer, and fashion model.
Moreover, he has two elder siblings; Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump. When Eric was just 8 years old, his parents divorced in the year 1992. Regarding his academic career, he studied at Trinity School. Later, he studied at the Hill School and graduated there in 2002. After completing his high school graduation, he went to Georgetown University. And, he completed his graduation with a degree in finance and management in 2006
Professional Career
Eric began accompanying his father to job sites and negotiations from a young age. After finishing his graduation, he joined the Trump Organization in the role of executive vice president, of development and acquisitions.
In addition, he took on the responsibility of broadening the company’s real estate portfolio and expanded the Trump Golf Collection from three properties to 19. Moreover, he operated the organization with his older brother, Donald Trump Jr.
They deal and investments in foreign countries. Also, the two brothers collect payments in their U.S. properties from foreign governments. However, they had pledged not to do so.
In 2007, he founded the Eric Foundation. The foundation’s main aim is to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Tennessee. In February 2015, the new Eric Trump Foundation Surgery & ICU Center in the Kay Research and Care Center, a $198 million tower was officially opened on the St. Jude campus.
Later, in December 2016, Eric announced that he would stop active fundraising for the Eric Trump Foundation to avoid the appearance that donors were using him to gain access to his father after he won the presidential election.

According to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Eric Trump Foundation has raised and donated $16.3 million to the hospital since the charity’s foundation. Similarly, Forbes reported in June 2017 that the Eric Foundation shifted money intended to go to cancer patients to the family’s business.
Forbes claimed over $1.2 million of the donations went to the Trump Organization. In the year 2017, The New York State Attorney General’s Office started an inquiry into the Eric Trump Foundation.
During his father’s 2016 presidential election campaign, Eric was a key advisor, fundraiser, and campaign surrogate. For his father’s reality television series, “The Apprentice” he was a boardroom judge from 2010 to 2015.

Professionally, his wife is an associate producer on the syndicated television news program, Inside Edition. After dating for a long time, they engaged on the 4th of July 2013 and later got married. With marriage, the couple has a son, Eric “Luke” Trump, and a daughter, Carolina Dorothy Trump.
