Eric Goode was born in Rhode Island, the United States, on December 19, 1957. He is currently 66 years old and has a birth sign of Sagittarius. He holds American nationality and belongs to British ethnicity. His full name is Eric V. Goode.

Later, he made documentaries including Madagascar, In Search of the Okinawa Leaf Turtle, and In Search of the Impressed Tortoise. Finally, in 2020, he directed the documentary Tiger King. Netflix’s mini-documentary is built on the link between the Big Cat Conservation and collectors in America.

He is also extremely popular for his works as an animal philanthropist. In 2005, he established the non-profit organization, Turtle Conservancy.
He works alongside the organization to save endangered turtles. To do this, he established the first rescue and breeding center. Aside from that, the organization has transported large tracts of land to other parts of the world to protect endangered turtle habitats.
This includes about 900 acres in South Africa, around 1,000 acres of Tropical Deciduous Forest in Sonora, Mexico, over 60,000 acres in Durango for the Bolson Tortoise, and 1,890 acres in Palawan, Philippines for the Palawan Forest Turtle.
In addition, he serves on the boards of Global Wildlife Conservation, Rainforest Trust, and Chelonian Research Institute.
