Moreover, he was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Flyers on May 5, 2021, following his first season with the Mooseheads in 2020-21, which resulted in his selection to the QMJHL Second All-Star Team.

He was named captain of the Halifax Mooseheads for his final junior season in 2021-22, and he set a career season high with 42 goals and 46 assists for 88 points in 61 regular season games, finishing second on the team in scoring.
Desnoyers began his professional career with the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, in the 2022-23 season. He received his first recall to the Flyers on February 25, 2023, after producing offensively in a top-line role with the Phantoms. That night, he made his NHL debut with the Flyers, appearing in a 7-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils.
