EJ Johnson was born on June 4, 1992, in Beverly Hills, California, USA. He is 31 years old and is under the astrological sign, Gemini. He holds American nationality and his full name is Earvin Johnson III.
His mother’s name is Earlitha “Cookie” Johnson and his father’s name is Earvin “Magic” Johnson. He has an older brother and a younger sister and their names are Andre and Elisa respectively.

EJ Johnson is gay and came out to his family when he was 17 years old and his family supported his decision. And, after his decision, he made the difficult choice to leave the West Angeles Church of God in Christ because of their views on homosexuality. Also, he went on to publicly announce in the year 2013 after a report by TMZ published pictures of him holding hands with a male friend. In the year 2013, he was a guest on Joan Rivers’s show Fashion Police.
Johnson then went on to become part of the cast of the reality TV show “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” in the year 2014. Initially, he was a recurring member but later on, he went on to become a main cast member for the following three seasons. And, after four seasons, the show came to an end. Likewise, EJ then went on to have his spin-off series, “EJNYC”. This show was one of the first reality shows to feature a young LGBTQ person of colour.
