On January 16, 2021, at UFC on ABC: Holloway vs Kattar, he faced off against Punahele Soriano, a fellow DWCS alumnus. He suffered the first defeat of his professional career when Soriano TKO’d him at the end of the opening round.
He was set to compete against Maki Pitolo on June 5, 2021, at UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs Sakai as the final fight of his contract. Pitolo was, however, forced to withdraw two weeks before the fight for unspecified reasons, and Gregory Rodrigues took his place. Moreover, Dusko was defeated by a unanimous decision.
Pitolo and Dusko’s fight was rescheduled for UFC on ESPN 31 on December 4, 2021. In round one, he used a technical knockout to win the match. On May 21, 2022, Chidi Njokuani was his opponent at UFC Fight Night 206. This fighter was defeated in the first round by knockout.
