Later, she was seen in a supporting role in the TV film Murder Me, Murder You, in 1983. Moreover, for 3 episodes of the series The Love Boat, she made her appearance. Delta Burke is married to Gerald McRaney, a well-known actor. In 1987, they met each other when she made a guest appearance in Simon & Simon. They soon started dating and married after 2 years of dating, on May 28, 1989.

From her husband’s previous marriage, he has children named Angus, Jessica, and Kate. Talking about her controversies, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the show in an interview. Also, she argued on Entertainment Tonight. And, stated that there was a Delta Burke labor dispute in labor in Designing Women.
