David Soul was born on August 28, 1943, in the city of Chicago, Illinois, United States, and his full name was David Richard Solberg.

Later, he moved to act, making his television debut in the series Flipper in 1967. He gained popularity for his role as Joshua Bolt in the television series Here Come the Brides in 1970.

Similarly, he appeared in several television series such as I Dream of Jeannie, Star Trek, All in the Family, The F.B.I., The Streets of San Francisco, Cannon, Circle of Fear, The Disappearance of Flight 412, Starsky & Hutch, Little Ladies of the Night, Salem’s Lot, Rage, World War III, Casablanca, The Yellow Rose, and so on.

Likewise, he has appeared in several films such as Johnny Got His Gun, Magnum Force, Dogpound Shuffle, The Stick Up, Salem’s Lot, Through Naked Eyes, The Key to Rebecca, The Hanoi Hilton, Appointment with Death, Prime Target, Grave Secrets: The legacy of Hilltop Drive, Pentathlon, Starsky and Hutch, and so on.

Furthermore, he showcased his talents on stage appearing in various theatrical productions including musicals like Chicago and Jerry Springer – The Opera. Apart from acting, he also had a successful music career. In 1976, he released a single called Don’t Give Up on Us which became a number one hit in the United States and the United Kingdom.
