David Choe was born on April 21, 1976(age 45 years old)in Los Angeles, California, USA. His parents are Korean immigrants who have experienced a new birth particularly known as rebirth. They belong to a Christian family with details about siblings under wraps.

After his novel, he submitted Slow Jams for an xeric grant and was awarded $5000 to self-publish the second expanded edition. The second cover came out in 1999 with a cover price of $4.

Further, he along with Harry Kim made an autobiography documentary named Dirty Hands: The Art and Crimes of David Choe. He also accepted the mural commission from Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and Facebook founder and also performed a solo exhibit, Santa Rosa.

Further Details
He was offered a solo exhibition at the Sanat Rosa Museum of Contemporary Arts in 2005 after his solo exhibitions in San Jose and San Francisco. Following the exhibition, he had another solo exhibition Gardener of Eden in 2007 at New York Jonathan LeVine Gallary, Chelsea. Likewise, his other solo exhibition Murderous Heart at the London and Newcastle locations of Lazarides Gallary. His career and his podcast with Joe Rogan about Baboons, congo and Lost Dinosaur have attracted many viewers.
Moreover, he was approached by Gavin Mclnnes and Shane Smith to write and perform artwork with Vice Magazine. Likewise, he extended his career into hosting and starting an online lifestyle entertainment podcast with adult film star Asa Akira titled DADASA.

Considering his great artwork he was approached by Internet Entrepreneur Sean Parker to paint sexual mural graphics at the interior of Facebook’s first Silicon Valley office in 2005. Moving to another project, which was approached by the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg to paint somewhat tamer murals for his office.

He received around $200 million on the eve of Facebook’s 2012 IPO. Further talking about his other filmography status he was part of documentaries, web series, and so on. Some of the features are Thumbs UP! (2007-2010), The last dinosaur of the Congo with David Choe(2011), We Are the Strange (voice of the main character 2007), Dirty Hands, Vice, Anthony Bourdain: parts unknown, The Mandalorian and Vice s2.
Charitable works
As part of many works he has extended his hands to charity as well. He is involved with many foundations including Y le Haiti founded by Wyclef Jean and The LIDE Haiti Foundation. Being a known personality scandal follows your way. He has spent three months in prison due to an argument with a police officer during his art show in Japan. He grabbed the headline after his DVDASA Podcast that he had engaged in rude behavior with a masseuse. Later he defended his comment. Further, he was paid to paint the Bowery Mural Wall in 2017 but he was later protested by other artists including Swoon against his inclusion in the mural project. In addition, he denied any kind of sexual assault or rape and apologize for his original comments.
