In the year 2008, young Dashiell Connery was caught in the middle of a media controversy.
This was allegedly caused by a statement given by his grandmother and Sir Sean Connery’s first wife, Diane Cilento, implying a family feud between Sean Connery and Jason.
Likewise, “The Sunday Times” published the statement in July 2008.
And, after the newspaper accused Sean Connery of depriving Jason of his inheritance, he and his father came out in support of his grandfather, denouncing the allegations as false.
Further, Sir Sean Connery stated in the media, stating that all the mud-slinging was due to his political affiliations and that the accusations were baseless.
