This actor earned a Joseph Jefferson Equity Award nomination for Principal Actor in a Play for his work in Objects in the Mirror at the Goodman Theatre in 2017. In the year 2018, he portrayed the role of Hamlet in a Gift Theatre production. He co-wrote and starred in “The T,” a web series about a white trans woman and a Black queer man in Chicago, with Bea Cordelia. Moreover, it had its world premiere at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Kyri auditioned for the role of Darren Ritter on “Chicago Fire” in 2018, with the role initially planned to last 2-3 episodes. Additionally, he was cast in most episodes as a recurring guest for the next two years before being promoted to series regular in August 2020. In the 2022 Shudder lo-fi horror film “Night’s End,” he plays a YouTube paranormal investigator.
