Early Life and Childhood
Colton Underwood was born in his birthplace, Indianapolis, Indiana, to his father Scott Underwood, and his mother Donna Underwood, on January 26, 1992, and his current age is 32 years. But his parents are divorced. His father played college football for the ‘Illinois State Redbirds,’ while Donna was a volleyball player. His younger brother, Connor Timothy Underwood, has played football for ‘Indiana State.’ Likewise, his full name is Colton Scott Underwood.

The Bachelor star Colton Underwood broke the news on Friday, March 20, 2020. He said that he tested positive for the coronavirus through an Instagram post. Moreover, he revealed that he started to feel symptoms of the disease, COVID-19, a few days ago, and hence he sought out a test and got his diagnosis.
He also wrote in an Instagram caption urging people to stay home and socially distance themselves:
“For anyone out there that is hesitant to self-quarantine… please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay home. We will all beat this and come out stronger on the other side. It’s been kicking my ass, just to put it pretty bluntly. The main thing is I can’t even walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath or go to the bathroom without having to sit down because I’m exhausted.”
Further, Underwood also shared a video explaining more about his experience. He also explained that we should abandon the idea that coronavirus is exclusively dangerous for elderly people. It is because Underwood considers himself to be a healthy 28-year-old who works out regularly but still he had serious symptoms.

Quarantine process
He stated that he’s currently in quarantine with his girlfriend Cassie Randolph, whom he met on The Bachelor. They are practicing self-quarantine at her parent’s house in Huntington Beach, California.
Cassie Randolph wrote:
The doctor said that Underwood was one of three people that tested positive out of 20 tests that he gave that day and that number is probably only going to keep increasing.
We’ll keep you updated on our symptoms or lack of symptoms and everything else going on in our household. But as far as social distancing and everything, please, please practice that because it’s the only thing that we can do, and if we have it, probably a lot of other people out there have it too, even if they haven’t been tested for it. So treat yourself like you do have it.
Colton Underwood – Career and Professional Life
Colton Underwood was a Buck Buchanan Award finalist two times. He started his football career as a freshman in 2010 and finished with two sacks, eventually becoming a full-time starter in 2011.
For ‘Illinois,’ his career-high has been four stops at ‘No.19 Northern Illinois.’ He also picked up a sack against ‘No.24 Western Illinois.’ He made his first career sack against ‘South Dakota State.’ His college football career ended with 45 games and 215 tackles. On September 3, 2014, he was chosen by the ‘Philadelphia Eagles practice squad and was released 6 days later. He was back with the ‘Chargers’ and was signed to their practice squad on September 23, 2014. On 29 December that year, he signed a contract with the ‘Chargers.’
For the Chargers, Underwood geared up for the preseason games. In his first NFL game, Underwood scored two tackles. The ‘Chargers’ surrendered on September 5, 2015, and he was placed on injured reserve the next day. His injured reserve state was taken back on September 10, 2015. Furthermore, on December 1, 2015, he joined the ‘Raiders’ but was not included on the roster. Likewise, he remained with their practice squad. He was dismissed on August 29, 2016.
He suffered a ligament tear and a joint break in his left shoulder on the first day of his padded practice with the ‘Raiders.’ The injury eventually ended his football career. After retiring from football, he entered the 14th season of the ‘ABC’ dating reality show ‘The Bachelorette.’
He was eliminated in the eighth week and, by then, had made it to the final four.
