Milky Chance’s debut album, “Sadnecessary,” debuted at number 15 on the German music charts shortly after its release in the fall of 2013.

His work can also be seen on the television show The Voice. In a 2015 episode of The Voice, he can be seen playing his guitar and other instruments while composing a soundtrack. The band performed at the 2015 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which was headlined by Jack White.
On November 3, 2021, the band released “Trip Tape,” their fourth studio album. Later, on April 20, 2022, they released an acoustic version of their debut album, “Sadnecessary.” Milky Chance’s “Trip Tape II” was released on 5 October 2022.
