Christopher Sean is an American TV Actor and Web Series Star. Christopher Sean became popular when he starred as Bing Lee in the YouTube narrative series “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries”. He is also popular for his role as Paul Narita on the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives”.
Early Life and Childhood
Christopher Sean was born on October 25, 1985, in Oak Harbor, Washington, USA. He is 38 years old and is under the astrological sign, Scorpio. He holds American nationality and his full name is Christopher Sean Friel.
His father’s name is Patrick Friel and his mother’s name is Sayuri. He also has two sisters, and their names are Candis and Melody. He mainly grew up in Southern California. And, he is Japanese on his mother’s side and Irish, Spanish, and German on his father’s side.

Career and Professional Life
Christopher Sean was working at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Valencia, California when he got “discovered”. And, from there, he went on to venture into modelling. On top of that, he even was able to win the Mr. Asia USA pageant in the year 2007. The prize for winning was $1,500 in cash and a one-year acting class at the Michael John Studio in Van Nuys, California.
However, he had to face some challenges early on in his career because of his mixed ethnicity. He mentioned feeling caught between not being “Asian enough” for Asian roles and not “white enough” for white roles. Despite these obstacles, he persevered and auditioned for ABC’s General Hospital, although he admitted to not doing well due to his lack of experience.
However, he didn’t let that discourage him and went on to make appearances in shows such as Hollywood Heights, The Mindy Project, and the web series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries. In the year 2014, he was able to land a recurring role as Gabriel Waincroft on CBS’s “Hawaii Five-0”.
Likewise, it was announced that Sean was going to join the cast of “Days of Our Lives” as a contract cast member in October 2014. He was able to play the character Paul Narita, a pro baseball player who comes out as gay and gets caught up in a love triangle with Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis. Sean left the series in the year 2018 but made a comeback in the 2022 limited-run series, “Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem”.
Moreover, Christopher lent his voice to the lead character Kazuda Xiono in the animated series “Star Wars Resistance”. Also, he got the opportunity to appear in a recurring role for the third season of the Netflix psychological thriller series “You”, which is quite popular.
