Early Life
Christina Grimmie was born on the 2nd of March 1994, in Marlton, New Jersey, in the United States of America. At the age of 22, she passes away. She holds American nationality. Likewise, she has a birth sign of Pisces and belongs to mixed ethnicity of Romanian-Italian-American descent.
She is the daughter of Albert Grimmie (father) and Tina Grimmie (mother). Professionally, her father worked at ‘Verizon Communications,’ while her mother worked as a receptionist until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She grew up with her elder brother whose named Marcus and also worked as her road manager
Talking about her academic qualification, she studied at Bethel Baptist Christian School. Afterward, she studied at Marlton Middle School and Cherokee High School.
Death
She performed with the Before You Exit band at The Plaza Live in Orlando on 10th June 2016. After finishing her performance, she was signing autographs when she was shot dead by Kevin James Loibl at the age of 21.
Before the Police could arrest Loibl, he shot himself. However, the police couldn’t find out why the crime was done and it was predicted that it was due to Loibl’s extreme obsession with Grimmie.
After that incident, there were demands for better security at concerts and other public venues. Billboard published ‘Open Letter to Congress: Stop Gun Violence Now.’
Six months later Grimmie’s murder, her family filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the concert promoter, the foundation that owned the venue, and the security company that oversaw the event.
However, it was requested by the venue that the judge dismiss the lawsuit as Florida law does not allow the business operators to be held liable for attacks on their property.

Christina Grimmie began posting covers of songs on her YouTube channel named, zeldaxlove64, in 2009 at the age of 15.
She rose to fame after her cover song ‘Party in the USA’ a song by Miley Cyrus originally. After gaining popularity from cover songs, she released her debut EP, Find Me (2011), which was uploaded on her YouTube channel and was an average success.
That same year, she got a chance to perform at several events such as the UNICEF charity concert. Later, she appeared on shows such as ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ and the ’39th American Music Awards.’
