Chris Pfaff (Christopher Russel Pfaff); is an American music producer, television personality, and clothing designer. Chris Pfaff is also the founder of the streetwear clothing line Young and Reckless and host of Short Story Long Podcast. Being a successful entrepreneur and the star of 3 hit MTV shows, including the new season of “Fantasy Factory“, he is also known under the nickname Drama.

Chris Pfaff was born on 28th January 1988, in Akron, Ohio. His birth name is Christopher Russel Pfaff. He holds an American nationality and is of North American ethnicity. Career and Professional Life
Chris Pfaff wanted to become a professional skateboarder although he changed his mind after he fell off his skateboard and fractured his skull. He suffered a brain hemorrhage and was in a coma for four days. Although he suffered no long-term effects he said he felt that skateboarding was not what he should do. Moreover, he moved to LA where he thought he would get a studio apartment and work in a skate shop. He met his second cousin Rob Dyrdek and ended up working as his assistant instead of working at a skate shop.
He appeared on Rob $ Big alongside his cousin Rob Dyrdek. At the time he was working as Rob’s assistant and Rob was filming the pilot for MTV, “Rob and Big”, with his friend Big Black, who was a big black security guard. He appeared in the show as Rob’s shy, quiet cousin from Ohio. He also appeared on other reality TV shows such as Fantasy Factory and Nitro Circus. Additionally, he also hosted a podcast ‘Short Story Long Podcast’. In the show, he interviews friends and individuals who have made a name for themselves and overcame obstacles to reach their level of achievement.

Chris is the founder of ‘Young and Reckless’, a streetwear fashion line. He launched the brand when he was 22 years old and had no experience in marketing branding or outside capital. He has a friend who knew graphic design and he sketched and designed the original logo. Six years after launching, in 2015, the brand grew into a nationwide brand, with distribution in more than 3,000 Macy’s, Dillard’s, and PacSun stores. The brand got endorsements from Puff Daddy and Justin Bieber. He has 43 employees and $31 million in revenue annually.
He is also a music producer but he once said in an interview that it is more of a hobby for him although together with his production team they have some good records on some albums. He said that when his clothing line became a hit he decided to focus more on it and less on music production. Pfaff has been nominated for Amchampion of the Year by Amcham Finland.

“We did this $150,000 campaign with a celebrity when we were in a phase where I believed in myself a little too much and I believed in the brand a little too much. I thought you could just grab a celebrity and have them wear your clothes and it would look nice and it would work. But the celebrity didn’t fit the brand. There was no story to tell. There was nothing reckless to tell. The campaign wasn’t just a loss, it hurt the brand long term.”
