Early Life and Childhood

Charlotte Casiraghi was born on August 3, 1986. She is 37 years old now. Likewise, she was born in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The name of her mother is Caroline, Princess of Hanover and her father’s name is Stefano Casiraghi.

She is a Monacan with her nationality. Moreover, she follows the Christian religion and her zodiac sign is Leo. Charlotte Casiraghi has two brothers: Andrea born in 1984 and Pierre born in 1987. Her father was killed in a boating accident when she was four years old. 

From ages 2 to 6 she was sent to ‘Les Dames de Saint Maur,’ part of the Catholic schools of ‘François d’assisi Nicolas Barré’ of Monaco. Later on, she was shifted to the state school system at ‘École de la République,’ Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Casiraghi started dating Gad Elmaleh in December 2011. On Tuesday, 17 December 2013 their son, Raphaël, was born. Thus, Raphaël’s parents have not married the couple split in June 2015.

Moreover, several credible media sources reported her engagement to Dimitri Rassam in March 2018. Later, on 23 October 2018, Casiraghi gave birth to a second child named Balthazar.

On 1 June 2019, the couple married civilly at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. They married religiously on 29 June 2019, at the Abbey of Sainte-Marie de Pierredon, outside Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.


Casiraghi became the official ambassador for the equestrian collections of Gucci in 2010. She became the face of Gucci Cosmetics in 2014. Giving the hashtag #YSL15 Casiraghi modeled for Yves Saint Laurent’s campaign for its Fall 2018 collection. Casiraghi became the brand ambassador of Chanel on 22 December 2020.

Likewise, Casiraghi was photographed by David Sims to be the face of the campaign. Casiraghi collaborated with Montblanc in 2018, on a line of jewelry called Les Aimants inspired by Nancy Cunard.

However, Casiraghi founded Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco (literally, “Philosophical Encounters”) in 2015. In 2017, Casiraghi wrote the preface for a book published by the psychoanalyst Julia Kristeva.

She continues to train with Thierry Rozier since returning to the show jumping sport in April 2009. She assumed the role of honorary president of the Global Champions Tour in Monaco; in 2010.
