During that time, she was just fifteen years old and competed in six different events: The Women’s Individual All-Round, Team All-Round, Floor Exercise, House Vault, Uneven Bars, and Balance Beam. Despite her hard work, she could not earn any medals in the tournament. In the tournament, she was ranked in sixth place in the Women’s Team All-Round.

Again, she appeared in the Summer Olympics in 1972 on the United State’s women’s gymnastics team. She again entered into the same six events that she had in her previous time at the Olympics.
This time also, she did not earn any medals and finished in fourth place for the Women’s Team All-Round. She announced her retirement from gymnastics after finishing the 1972 Summer Olympics.
Acting Career
Before starting her career in acting, she spent some years independently studying singing and acting. She made her acting debut in 1974, playing as a guest actress in the show “Police Woman.” Later, she appeared on one episode of “The Six Million Dollar Man” and “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries.” The actress also starred in one made-for-television movie in the 1970s called “The Great Wallendas.”
In the 1980s, she was more focused on theatre and appeared in plays such as ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ and ‘Annie Get Your Gun.’ She also made her Broadway debut in 1990 playing Peter Pan in ‘Peter Pan.’ In the 1990s, she went on to go on tour for this play twice.

Rigby appeared in just one television show “Ghostwriter,” one made-for-television film “Perfect Body,” and one television special “Peter Pan” in the 1990s – 2000s. In 2002-2003, she performed the lead in the touring version of the musical Seussical, and in 2004-2005, she returned to tour as Peter Pan, branding it as her farewell.
Her most recent acting work was in the 2012 film “McKenna Shoots for the Stars,” in which she played Isabelle Manning. In late August 2015, she reprised her role as Peter Pan in a limited 15-day performance at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver.
