She was chosen to represent Gordon’s team. First, during the Season 2 premiere, Kamahlai, a 41-year-old home cook from Washington D.C. and member of Richard Blais’ team, was eliminated. The remaining chefs were then tasked with creating Mexican dishes the following week. Some chefs impressed the judges, while others, including Cassie, fell short. However, in the elimination round, she defeated chef Alex Morizio of Brooklyn, New York, and thus qualified for the next round. Unfortunately, she got eliminated on the 9th of March 2023 in the show’s 5th episode.
