Carson Daly is a famous television host, producer, radio personality, and television personality from the United States. Carson Daly rose to prominence after appearing on MTV’s Total Request Live, where he was hired as a host. Moreover, Carson also became well-known by appearing on South California’s KROQ-FM, or station 106.7.

Carson Daly was born in Santa Monica, California, United States on June 22, 1973. He is 50 years old under the zodiac sign Cancer. Carson holds an American nationality and follows the Christian religion.

Regarding his family background, he is the son of Jim Daly (Father) and Pattie Daly (Mother). His father, a car salesman, passed away from bladder cancer when he was still a young child.

His actress mother remarried in 1981 to Richard Caruso, and the two remained together until they died in 2017. Carson was raised along with his sister Quinn.


Speaking of his educational background, he completed his secondary education at Santa Monica High School. Following that, he attended the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California.

After graduation, Carson enrolled at Loyola Marymount University to further his education.

Then Daly received the 6–10 PM time slot at Los Angeles’ sister station KROQ, which is owned by KOME. He was hired as a VJ for MTV’s summer beach house programming, “Motel California,” while still working at KROQ.

Moreover, Daly moved to New York after being hired by MTV as a permanent VJ at the end of the summer of 1997. Daly started hosting MTV Live once he arrived in New York.

Last Call with Carson Daly made its debut in 2002. Up until 2005, the show was filmed on the same Saturday Night Live set before moving to Los Angeles. He started hosting a New Year’s Eve special for NBC in 2003–2004 under the name New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly.

Daly started serving as the host and executive producer of NBC’s reality music competition The Voice in 2011. Daly, as the host, had to endure blind auditions alongside the contestants’ relatives.

He has earned four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program as a producer of The Voice, first in 2013 and then again in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Earl learns about karma while watching an episode of Last Call with Carson Daly while in the hospital after being hit by a car. In the episode, Carson Daly argues that his success is a direct result of doing good deeds for other people.

Carson met the love of his life, food blogger Siri Pinter, on the set of his talk show Last Call with Carson Daly, where she was working as a writing assistant. Before having a son named Jackson James on March 16, 2009, the pair dated for a few years.

They had two daughters after that. Etta Jones, their first child, was born on September 6, 2012, and London Rose, their second daughter, was born on August 20, 2014.

On December 23, 2015, they wedded in a small private ceremony. The duo welcomed their fourth child, a daughter named Goldie Patricia, during the Coronavirus pandemic.
