His father is Michael Dressel and his mother is Christina Dressel. His father was a collegiate swimmer and veterinarian by profession. Talking about siblings, he has 3 other siblings; Kaitly, Tyler, and Sherridon.

Dressel came from a swimmer’s family. Naturally, he was inclined toward swimming too. The talented swimmer was in the limelight from an earlier age. He started participating at a quite early age and performed well. To look back, his first competitive game came at the age of 15 years of age in 2011 in the Junior National Championships in Palo Alto. At the very first attempt, he was shattering records. The following year, he won the 100m Freestyle and 4x200m freestyle relay at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals.
The year 2013
Dressel continuing the journey participated in some high-profile competitions this year. He won 6 medals in the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships record in 2013. In the same year, he also participated in the 2013 Speedo Winter Junior National Championships.
The year 2015
Caeleb won his first college-level swimming competition in 50 y freestyle at the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Swimming Championships, in the year 2015. The same year, he was glorious on 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle titles at the Senior National Swimming Championships in San Antonio.
The year 2016
The main highlight of his career came at this time. He appeared in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was successful in winning 2 gold medals in 4x100m Freestyle and 4x100m Medley. Dressel also won and broke records at the Men’s NCAA Division I Championships.
The year 2017
The winning streak did not just continue but also started to widen. He remained victorious in NCAA titles on different occasions in the following years 2017. He even won seven gold medals at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The year 2018
Caeleb Dressel continued defending his NCAA titles. Caeleb won all swimming races and acquired the first national relay title at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships 2018. Further, he won multiple medals, including 5 Gold medals in 100m Freestyle, 4x100m freestyle, 4x50m Freestyle, 4x100m Medley, 4x50m Mixed Medley, and 4x50m Mixed Freestyle at the World Swimming Championships
The year 2019
Caeleb’s swimming career was much awarded this year too as he was able to bag other many awards. In the same year, he signed for the International Swimming League’s Cali Condors. He was able to lead the Condors to a third-place finish, winning skin races and MVP titles in most of his matches.
The year 2020
The year saw him breaking four of the world records. It came while representing Cali Condors in the international swimming league. Despite his young age, he started his coaching career at this time. He signed an ambassadorship deal for the SPIRE Institute and Academy. Caeleb has made his appearance in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 as the US national swimming team captain.
