Brittany Daniel is recognized for her role as Jessica Wakefield on the 1990s syndicated teen drama “Sweet Valley High”(1994–1997) and as Kelly Pitts in the CW/BET comedy-drama series “The Game” (2006–2011; 2014–2015).

Born as Brittany Ann Daniel better known as Brittany Daniel was born on the 17th of March 1976, in Gainesville, Florida, the United States. She was born to her parents Charlton Bradford Daniel Jr. (father) and Carolyn Daniel (mother). Her father was running for mayor of Gainesville but he died in 2008 from lung cancer. She grew up with her two siblings; a twin sister Cynthia, and an elder brother, Brad. Her twin sister Cynthia is five minutes younger and one inch taller than her.

At an early age, Brittany Daniel and her sister Cynthia started modelling. And, they were signed by The Ford Modeling Agency, based in New York City when they were just 11 years old.

In addition, the twin sisters were also featured in the American teen magazines ‘Seventeen,’ and ‘YM.’ Similarly, they also appeared in commercial ads for Doublemint gum as the Doublemint Twins.

Acting Career

Later, Brittany began her acting journey by appearing in the 1989 American sitcom “The New Leave It to Beaver.” The series is a sequel to the original ‘Leave It to Beaver.’ When she was just 16 years old, she moved to New York in 19992 to play the role of Mila Rosnovsky on the syndicated American teen drama “Swan’s Crossing.” The drama aired for 13 weeks from June 29 to September 25, 1992.

Later, she portrayed the role of Jessica Wakefield in the comedy-drama television series “Sweet Valley High.” The series is based on Francine Pascal’s book series of the same name. Furthermore, the series was aired from September 5, 1994, to October 14, 1997, and in the series, her sister Cynthia played the role of Jessica’s twin, Elizabeth.

While working on the series, the twin sisters got the offer of their first film “The Basketball Diaries” (1995). Meanwhile, the film is an American crime drama directed by Scott Kalvert.

Brittany was cast in the teen drama television series “Dawson’s Creek” in 1999. The series is about the lives of a group of friends in high school. The series covered their college life as well and the series ran until 2003.

She played the Cindy Evers in the 2000 television film “On Hostile Ground.” The next year, she was cast as David Spade’s love interest, Brandy, in the adventure comedy film “Joe Dirt,” written by Spade and Fred Wolf and produced by Robert Simonds.

She was cast in “Skyline,” a science fiction thriller film about an alien invasion produced and directed by Brothers Strause, in February 2010. The actress appeared in the 2015 film “Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser” as Brandy, a sequel to the 2001 film of the same name.
