Brandon Ingram is an American Basketball player. He was born on the 2nd of September 1997, in Kinston, North Carolina, the United States, and is currently 26 years old.

Brandon Ingram became the second-youngest player drafted in 2016 after the NBA Los Angeles Lakers selected him to the team. On August 23, 2016, he signed a rookie contract with the Lakers and began playing for them. On his debut, he scored 9 points in a win over the Houston Rockets on October 26, 2016. During NBA All-Star Weekend, he and teammate D’Angelo Russell competed in the Rising Stars Challenge.

He was also named to the United States 2016 national basketball selection team, which trained alongside the 2016 U.S. Olympic Basketball Team. On December 7, 2017, he scored 21 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds remaining, as the Lakers defeated the 76ers 107-104 to snap a five-game losing streak. He had 22 points and 14 rebounds in a 108-94 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on January 5, 2018.

On March 1, 2018, he suffered a groin strain, forcing him to miss the next 12 games. He returned against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 30. But he suffered a neck muscle contusion during the game and was placed in the NBA’s concussion protocol, forcing him to miss the rest of the season.

The season 2018-2019 season

He was suspended for four games early in the 2018-19 season for his role in an on-court brawl against the Houston Rockets on October 20. This basketball player was sidelined for seven games in December due to a sprained left ankle. He had a career-high 11 assists in a 138-128 overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on January 17, 2019.

He re-signed with the Pelicans on a five-year, $158 million contract after becoming a restricted free agent in the 2020 offseason.

Because his contract has no player or team options, Ingram will be a free agent again in the 2025 offseason. On June 7, 2022, he underwent surgery on his right pinky finger and was ruled out for 6-to-8 weeks.

He recorded his first triple-double of his NBA career on March 24, 2023, with 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Pelicans’ 115-96 victory over the Charlotte Hornets. On April 9, 2023, in the final game of the 2022-23 season, he had 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists in a 113-108 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
