He got praise from audiences and critics for his role as Jesse Hall in the 1992 movie “The Mighty Ducks.” As a result, the role helped him to boost his acting career. He has made his recurring roles in TV series such as “A Different World” (1989-1991), “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” (1991, 1994), “Sister, Sister” (1995), and “Moesha” (1998-2001). Some of his guest appearances in TV series are “Martin” (1993), “Crime & Punishment” (1993), “South Beach” (1993), “Roc” (1994), and “Boy Meets World.”

Some of his movie roles are “The Sandlot” (1993), “Ghost in the Machine” (1993), “D2: The Mighty Ducks” (1994), and “Beyond Desire” (1994).
