Bea Alonzo was born Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagerstrom on October 17, 1987. She was born in Cainta, Rizal, Philippines. Presently, she is 36 years old and her zodiac sign is Libra.

Bea was discovered in a local town beauty contest and she was later referred to audition at ABS-CBN. And, after so many auditions and go-sees, finally, she was asked to undergo a workshop.
However, in the year 2002, Bea earned recognition in the world for the TV Primetime Soap Opera “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay”. And, in 2003, she proceeded with ‘It Might Be You’ a follow-up project.
In 2005, ‘Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin’ starred alongside actors Claudine Barretto Angelika Dela Cruz, and Diether Ocampo. Likewise, in 2006, more recognition poured in for the Soap Opera Maging Sino Ka Man and its second book Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik.

She released her debut album The Real Me under Star Records in June 2008. Also in mid-2008, it was disclosed that she would play the leading character Betty Pengson in the TV sitcom ‘Yo Soy Betty La Fea’, which originated in Colombia.
Therefore, the Philippines’ version was entitled ‘I Love Betty La Fea.’
