She even was involved in epilepsy research as an MD. Ramkissoon was recognized by health professionals in Florida and is also a Doctor of Medicine MD and a family medicine specialist practising in North Miami. She even is a Neurology specialist with a license.

Controversy
Doctor Anjali Ramkissoon was waiting for an Uber to take her home after a night of partying with her colleagues. But when an Uber arrived she got onto it without making a reservation. When the driver asked her to leave because there was no prior reservation, she started fighting with the driver. During the fight, she became violent and more belligerent as well as disorderly.
Moreover, she then walked away from the automobile, only to return and begin harassing the driver. Ramkissoon was seen kicking as well as beating the Uber driver. She even hurled various objects at the driver’s face.
Later on, it was discovered that the Uber had arrived to pick up a passenger whose name was Juan Pico. However, the driver of the Uber turned out to be the principal cinematographer of Ramkissoon’s entire violence in the middle of the road.
Soon after the police arrived at the scene but in her drunken state, she even began kicking the police officer who was handcuffing her. She started crying after she was inside the car as the situation started to settle and she began realizing her mistake. She was lucky that the Uber driver didn’t file any charges against her.
All of these fighting and altercation of Anjali with the Uber driver was recorded. When the video was uploaded on the internet, it went viral. Millions of people saw the video and began scolding and leaving hate comments about Anjali because of her bad behaviour.
The video sparked debate and condemnation. Anjali did apologize for her behavior but she did receive a lot of backlash from the general public. On top of that, her hospital has also placed her on paid administrative leave for the next few months.
