Movies and Television
When she was just 12 years old, Ania Bukstein made her film debut in the 1994 film “Eretz Hadasha” (A New Country). In the film, she played the role of Anna and appeared with Etti Ankri and Shuli Rand. She appeared in Dover Kosashvili’s 2003 film “Matana MiShamayim.” Later, she co-starred in the 2005 Shmuel Hasfari-directed film “Shoshelet Schwartz.”
Later that year, she starred in the first season of the children’s television series “Rosh Gadol” as Anastasia. She starred as Tamara Weiss in the third and fourth seasons of the musical drama series “HaShir Shelanu” in 2006.
Similarly, she starred as Neomi Hess, a curious Haredi teenager who discovers her attraction to another girl at a religious school, in Avi Nesher’s critically acclaimed film The Secrets in 2007. During the same year, she portrayed Irena Kovlova in the crime drama series “The Arbitrator” on the Hot 3 channel.
In 2008, she made an appearance on Channel 2’s Israeli comedy series Kapiot (Spoons). She played Adi in Kalevet (Rabies) in 2010. And, she later appeared on the sitcom Naor’s “Friends.” She played Silvy in the comedy series “Amamiot” in 2014. Later that year, she co-starred in “False Flag” as Asia Brinditch.

She played Kinvara in the sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones in 2016. Bukstein won Wolf for Best Actress in the PFF Festival in November for her role in “A Quiet Heart,” which also won Best Film. In 2017, she portrayed Russian spy Margarita Konenkova.
Voice Work
In 1994, she lent her voice to Marie in the Hebrew remake of the 1970 film “The Aristocats.” She also narrated and sang the intro song for Dick Bruna’s “Miffy Storybook Classics: The Original” Series, which aired that year on Channel 2 (Reshet). In 2002, she played Jane in the Hebrew version of “Return to Never Land.”
From 2003 to 2006, she played Clover in “Totally Spies!” on Disney Channel Israel. She played Daphne Blake in the “Scooby-Doo” franchises from 2004 to 2007. Being a trained pianist, she performed many songs on piano for the musical telenovela series “HaShir Shelanu.” Bukshtein released “Sunday,” a collection of songs she composed, in 2013, highlighting eight tunes she composed and formed. Johnny Goldstein delivered the collection and also co-wrote the song “One Day” from it. The singles included in the collection are “One Day,” “Nobody,” and “Seven Minutes.”

In June 2017, she released another single, “Kid or Man,” in collaboration with DJ Ofer Nissim. She also sings great Israeli songs at state and commemorative functions, such as displaying the official Israel Independence Day communication. She also appears with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
