Early Life and Childhood

In 2000, may and WBAI’s Gonzalo interviewed then-president Bill Clinton with human rights questions for 28 minutes. During the 2008 Republican National Convention held in Minnesota, her friends from Democracy Now were arrested. While trying to learn the situation of her co-workers, she was also arrested and accused of barring a legal process and intervening with a police officer.
