Early Life and Education
Amaury Nolasco was born Amaury Nolasco Garrido on December 24, 1970, in Vieques, Puerto Rico. He is currently 53 years old (as of 2024). He was born to his father Ángel Nolasco and his mother Camelia Garrido. Likewise, he has one sibling sister named Deborah Garrido who died in 2010. He holds both American and Puerto Rican nationalities. According to his birthdate, he was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn.

Professionally, Amaury is an actor and producer. Nolasco has appeared as a guest star in several TV shows, including Arli$$, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and ER. Along with other roles, including “Orange Julius” in Universal’s 2 Fast 2 Furious, his first appearance in a feature film was in Takeshi Kitano’s Brother.
Later, he appeared in Mr. 3000 as Bernie Mac’s co-star. Other roles that Nolasco has had on television and in movies include those in The Benchwarmers, CSI: NY, and George Lopez. On Sunday, April 29, 2007, he additionally made a guest appearance on Mind of Mencia. Additionally, he appeared in the summer 2007 film Transformers directed by Michael Bay.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Nolasco declined Bay’s offer to cast him in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen sequel. Prison Break was the project he played with the most notoriety.

Nolasco portrayed Rodrigo Suarez, Ana Sofia’s eccentric co-star, and the plot’s antagonist, in the sitcom Telenovela.
