Allen Covert is a multi-talented actor, comedian, writer, and producer from the United States. Allen Covert is recognized for his starring role in the 2006 comedy film “Grandma’s Boy,” and his supporting actor role in the movie “Strange Wilderness” (2008).

Born as Allen Stephen Covert, better known as Allen Covert. On the 12th of October 1964, he was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, the United States. Allen Covert made his film debut as a cruise ship bartender in Adam Sandler’s 1989 film “Going Overboard,” which also marked Sandler’s film debut. Covert had minor roles in several subsequent Sandler films, including Otto the homeless caddy in “Happy Gilmore,” before starring in “The Wedding Singer” alongside Sandler and Drew Barrymore in 1998.
He would go on to appear in four of Sandler’s subsequent films, including one in “Little Nicky,” for which he gained 40 pounds. Beginning with 50 “First Dates” in 2004, he eventually returned to walk-on and single-scene roles in Sandler’s films.

Covert’s first (and only) lead role was in the comedy film “Grandma’s Boy” in 2006. Sandler worked as an executive producer on the film. He also appeared in four films in which he did not star or produce: “Never Been Kissed,” “Late Last Night,” “Heavyweights,” and “The Cable Guy.”
Recent Works
Although Covert’s on-screen presence decreased in recent years, he has remained an active member of Sandler’s film production company, Happy Madison Productions, where he is an executive producer and occasionally co-writer on the majority of the company’s films.
Furthermore, he has made significant contributions to Sandler’s numerous comedy albums, and he frequently receives co-writing credits on the original songs that Sandler performs in many of his films.
He co-starred with Adam Sandler in an episode of the television series “Undeclared.” Judd Apatow, the show’s creator, is another friend and former college classmate of Covert and Sandler. His more recent works include “Hotel Transylvania 2,” “Sandy Wexler,” “Hubie Halloween,” “Home Team,” and “Murder Mystery 2.” Moreover, he is a co-founder of Cherry Tree Books, a children’s eBook publisher.
