Early Life
Alicia Schmidt was born on the 8th of November 1998, in Worms, Germany. Currently, she is 25 years old and has a birth sign of Scorpio. Additionally, she was a member of the German 4 400m relay team that finished second at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships, alongside Vanessa Aniteye, Meike Gerlach, and Corinna Schwab. Their time of 03:33:08 was faster than the previous age group world record, but they came in second place, behind the Ukrainian team, which set the new world record. It was the first medal for an Ingolstadt athlete at the Championships since 1999.
She also set a personal best time of 54.23 seconds in the individual 400m qualifying round at the Championships. Moreover, she withdrew from the individual 400m final to concentrate on the relay event. In the same year, she finished second in the 400m at the German Under-20 Championship.

Schmidt began training at SC Potsdam in October 2017, after relocating to Brandenburg for personal reasons. She joined SCC Berlin ahead of the 2019 season. Additionally, she was a member of the German team that finished third in the 4 × 400m relay at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships.
She finished third in the under-23s 400 meters event and was part of the SCC Berlin team that finished second in the 4 400 meters relay event at the 2019 German Athletics Championships. Moreover, she trained alone and ran through forests during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

Schmidt has been named fitness coach at Borussia Dortmund for the 2020-21 Bundesliga season. In addition, she was a member of the German squad for the 4 × 400m relay at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
