She was the youngest of four children of Sarah, a realtor, and Ralph Ricci, a lawyer, and therapist who divorced in 1993.
Her mother worked as a model in the 1960s before pursuing a real estate career. She is an American actor-producer.
Her family moved to Montclair, New Jersey, where she grew up with her three older siblings Rafael (born 1971), Dante (born 1974), and Pia (born 1976).
