David Faustino started his acting journey when he was just three months old, appearing in the Lily Tomlin Special. In 1980, he appeared in a minor role in the TV series “Little House on the Prairie.” During the early to mid-1980s, he guest-starred on several TV shows such as “Highway to Heaven,” “Family Ties,” “St. Elsewhere,” and “The Love Boat.”

He played the older of two young sons in the Disney movies “Mr. Boogedy” and “Bride of Boogedy,” released in 1986 and 1987 respectively.

In 1987, he obtained a full-time role on “Married… with Children,” which was his big break. He appeared in 259 episodes as Bud, the youngest of the two Bundy children, from April 5, 1987, until the season finale on June 9, 1997. In 1992, he was featured on the album Balistyx, which spawned one single titled “I Told Ya.”

He played Bud Bundy in several television shows, including “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” and “Top of the Heap.” Later, he has also appeared on “Burke’s Law,” “MAD TV,” and “The New Addams Family.”

He was cast in the 2001 independent film “Killer Bud,” produced by Aglet Productions. The following year, he starred in the reality television show “Celebrity Boot Camp” (a condensed version of the Boot Camp series for celebrities). In 2005, he made a guest appearance on two episodes of “One on One.”

In 2007-09, he created and starred in “Star-ving,” a weekly Internet comedy series on Crackle, an online video network supported by Sony Pictures Entertainment. He portrayed an exaggerated version of himself in the series, which he created with other pals as an “anti-Entourage.” Moreover, he also played Jason Dockery in the 2008 movie “RoboDoc.”

He appeared as a guest in the 2019 musical reality TV series “Drop the Mic” and the same year, he provided voice to the character Ronny in the animated series “Spirit Riding Free: Spirit of Christmas.”

In 2023, he provided voice to Normal Nate in the animated film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”

Controversy

In May 2007, Faustino was arrested on a misdemeanour marijuana possession charge. The allegation of disorderly intoxication was eventually withdrawn after Faustino agreed to participate in a drug recovery centre.
