Sam Hyde is a talented comedian, podcaster, and boxer from the  United States. Sam Hyde is the co-founder of the sketch comedy group,’ Million Dollar Extreme’ alongside Nick Rochefort and Charls Carroll.

Early Life

Sam Hyde was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, the United States, on April 16, 1985. His full name is Samuel Whitcomb Hyde and holds American nationality. According to the astrological chart, he has a birth sign of Aries and is currently 28 years old.

As a child, he was raised in Wilton, Connecticut. However, very little information is available related to his childhood. Similarly, the identities of his parents and siblings are unknown at the moment.

Talking about his academic background, he graduated from Wilton High School in 2003. Later, he enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University for one year. Afterwards, he transferred to the Rhode Island School of Design, where he graduated in 2007.

Professional Career

In mid-2014, Sam Hyde launched Kickstarter TV, a web series in which he would find systems on Kickstarter and feature both the systems and the people who created them.

‘Million Bone Extreme Presents World Peace,’ a TV show co-written and acted in by Hyde and the other members of MDE, premiered on Adult Syncope in August 2016.

Four months later, it was revealed that World Peace would not be renewed for the second season. Hyde said that the show was canceled because of his strong support for Donald Trump.

In a December 2016 interview with The Hollywood Journalist about the cancelation of his series, Hyde said that he was “presumably as racist or as poisoned as the average regular black guy or the average regular white guy.”

In 2017, he gave $5,000 to Andrew Anglin’s legal defense fund, the author and editor of the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer. When Matt Pearce of the Los Angeles Times questioned Hyde about the contribution, Hyde inquired whether he was Jewish and went on to imply that $5,000 meant “nothing” to him.

Boxing, author, and recent works

In 2022, iDubbbz posted a talkie about Hyde, attempting to understand and engage with him beyond the irony and performances Hyde puts on.

In addition, he has been open about his passion for boxing, and he assisted in training Jewish-Canadian YouTuber Harley

Morenstein for iDubbbz’s charity boxing event, Creator Clash. On August 27, 2022, he made his boxing debut, defeating Australian social media celebrity James “IAmThmpsn” Thompson at the 2 Fights 1 Night event.

In 2016, he along with Nick Rochefort and Charls “Coors” Carroll co-author the book named “How to BOMB the U. S. Gov’t: The OFFICIAL Primo(tm) Strategy Guide to the Collapse of Western Civilization.”

In April 2023, Hyde premiered ‘Fishtank,’ a live reality TV online program where competitors engage with fans in real time over six weeks. The show has been compared to the Big Brother television series for its framework and the Stanford prison experiment for its content. The show has included several YouTuber guests. As of now, the show has run two seasons successfully.

He and his friend Nick also run a YouTube channel ‘Sam & Nick’s Perfect Clips.’ On this channel, they run a Podcast where they talk about current issues and also upload several comedy videos.

Throughout his career, he has been a controversial person. Since 2015, he has been the target of several misreportings, including mass shootings and terrorist assaults by internet trolls. The New York Times described “Sam Hyde is the shooter” as “an identifiable meme” after photographs of Hyde using an automatic weapon circulated widely on social media.

CNN also wrongly published his picture in its report of the Umpqua Community College incident. Hyde has been mistakenly linked to high-profile massacres, including the Orlando Night Club incident, the Sutherland Springs church shooting, and the Las Vegas shooting in 2017.

Moreover, his picture has been used as the “Ghost of Kyiv” in social media posts featuring Adam Kinzinger. In July 2022, he was mistakenly identified as a shooter in the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
