She landed her most well-known role to date as Dana Fairbanks on Showtime’s “The L Word” in 2004. In addition, she appeared in over 40 episodes of the series as Fairbanks, and her performance is credited with encouraging someone to make an anonymous million-dollar contribution to the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, which investigates breast cancer. In addition, she reprised the role in its sequel series “The L Word: Generation Q” in the year 2022.
