Ronen Rubinstein is a well-known Israeli-born American actor, model, director, singer, environmentalist, and activist. Ronen Rubinstein has been recognized for portraying the main role as TK Strand in Fox aired Ryan Murphy’s creational procedural drama television series entitled 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020-Present).
Early Life

He went to New Dorp High School in New York City, New York. Later, he enrolled at New York University and completed his graduation in 2013.
Professional Career
For a short period, Ronen Rubinstein worked as a dental assistant in his father’s dental office but chose not to follow in his footsteps and become a doctor. When he was just 16 years old, he wrote his first short film “Something In the Way” which he later directed, produced, and starred in.
At the age of 17, he made his acting debut, as a teenage rebel named Gangsta in the 2011 psychological drama film “Detachment,” starring Bryan Cranston, Adrien Brody, and James Caan.
In 2014, he starred in another Sundance Film Festival thriller, “Jamie Marks Is Dead,” starring Cameron Monaghan and Liv Tyler. Later, he guest starred in an episode of the popular Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black” in the same year.
He was cast as a series regular as Alex Powell in Freeform’s “Dead of Summer” in 2016. In 2018, he played Mike in the comedic drama “Dude” opposite Lucy Hale and Awkwafina. His other credits include a supporting role in the comedy-drama Smartass (2017) and a starring role in the anthology film Brooklyn Love Stories (2019).
Rose to Fame
In 2020, he appeared as Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand, an openly gay fireman and recovering opioid addict, in Ryan Murphy’s Fox series “9-1-1: Lone Star.” The series has been Fox’s most-watched new show among 18-49 adults in 2020.

Meanwhile, it received praise for its interracial homosexual plot and diverse cast. The series has been nominated for the 32nd GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Drama Series.
He appeared in the fifth episode of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Stories in 2021, opposite Billie Lourd.

He was featured in CeCe’s music video for “Broke AF” (2017). Likewise, he appeared as himself in the 2018 documentary “Tyler Shields: Provocateur.”
He announced the release of the debut single “Open Door” by his band Nights in Stereo, which he founded with Rodrigo R. Rodarte and Jon Shoer, in January 2022. The band released their second song “Underwater” in summer 2022. The tracks can be found on Spotify.
