Early Life and Childhood
Bree Wasylenko was born on 13 June 1988 in Okotoks, Canada. She is currently 35 years old and her zodiac sign is Gemini. Though born in Okotoks, Bree grew up in Calgary, a city in the Canadian province of Alberta. Later, she moved to Toronto when she was 19 years old in the hopes of furthering her dance career. Bree Wasylenko – Professional Life
Professionally, Bree Wasylenko is a dancer. She gained immense success in the industry and she also competed in the Top 20 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada season 3. Bree is also an actor with her involvement as the character Kate in the Family Channel TV show The Next Step.
Bree is also a choreographer as well as an instructor. Before her fame, Bree trained in numerous styles of dance growing up and also worked as an assistant on So You Think You Can Dance Canada in seasons 1, 2, and 4. Moreover, she also performed as a dancer on the CW’s Nikita. Then she was a dancer in Canada’s Got Talent and Over the Rainbow. Bree also features on The Next Step alongside Alexandra Beaton.
Likewise, Bree has appeared in music videos of popular singers as well. More precisely, she has performed for Carly Rae Jepsen and Shawn Desman among others. Bree made her acting debut with the drama TV movie Alive released on 5 February 2013. For this movie, her role was the character of Roxy. She also played the role of Clarissa Eldridge in a 2015 episode of the CBC series Murdoch Mysteries. Clarissa is a wealthy housewife of the early 1900s. Likewise, she is also a laundress in the CW series Reign.
Then in 2017, Bree appeared as Kiki Razzlein in an episode of the Canadian news/satire/comedy series The Beaverton. Bree Wasylenko – Relationship Status
Bree Wasylenko dated Spencer Farrell in 2015. However, they parted ways. At present, Bree is dating a guy named Bryan Dowd. She has featured him on her YouTube video titled Hawaii Travel Video 2018 uploaded on 21 June 2018. She also frequently features him on her Instagram posts. Ranging from their vacation to Hawaii to the wedding reception of her sister, Bree has shared numerous adorable photos with her lover to her Instagram followers.
However, Bree hasn’t shared photos with Bryan for a long time. The last photo where he has tagged dates back to November 2018! In March 2019, she shared a promotional photo for the brand Endy where she is lying in bed with a guy. But it is unclear if it is Bryan or not.

30 Days Off Alcohol
On 6 December 2018, Bree shared a blog post in which she shared her experience after she took 30 days off of drinking. There were two reasons why she took a month off drinking. The first was related to her physical health as she suffers from IBS for which alcohol is a big irritant for her.
The second reason is related to her mental health. Since turning the legal drinking age, the longest Bree has gone without having an alcoholic beverage was two weeks. That was in 2017, post-wild-open-bar-10-days-straight-TIFF-party-madness. Bree committed to one month and caved after two weeks!
Before that, the longest she had gone without alcohol was 10 days. It was when she came down with a nasty respiratory infection that she couldn’t kick. Likewise, Bree has been in lots of relationships where booze is a huge part of her bonds.
Bree didn’t realize how ingrained alcohol was in her past relationships until she started dating Bryan. Though he enjoys drinking occasionally, Bree was blown away when the two started seeing each other. 75% of the time they spent together was 100% sober. It was a shocking realization for Bree.
She had a first date where she didn’t go home tipsy, feeling the warm fuzzies, but not sure if it was from all that wine or because she liked the guy. Her relationship with Bryan completely changed her relationship with alcohol in relationships. Not needing booze to loosen up enough to fully express oneself, or feel confident enough in an unfamiliar setting with new people. This was all after meeting Bryan and staying in love with him.
