Taylor Dayne started singing in little-known rock bands such as Next and Felony after graduating from high school. After finishing college, she began singing solo under the name Les Lee and recorded two dance singles “I’m The One You Want” in 1985 and “Tell Me Can You Love Me” in 1986.
In late 1987, her song “Tell It to My Heart” cracked the top ten hits with the recording studio Arista Record. After that, she released six more top-ten hits like “Prove Your Love”, “Don’t Rush Me”, “I’ll Always Love You”, “Love Will Lead You Back”, “With Every Beat of My Heart”, and “I’ll Be Your Shelter”.
