Jim Carrey starred in the film Yes Man, which Reed directed in 2008. The movie Yes Man is based on Danny Wallace’s autobiography and explores his decision to accept any chance, challenge, or offer that comes his way.
Reed took over as Ant-Man’s director from Edgar Wright. Before taking on the Ant-Man project, Reed was slated to direct a Brian Epstein biopic based on the graphic novel The Fifth Beatle.
He had to break off his relationship with The Fifth Beatle though because of his dedication to the superhero movie. The sequel to Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, was then directed by Reed.
