On the other hand, he has also been working as an actor in the Film and TV industry for over 25 years. During this time in the industry, he has numerous theatre as well as film credits to his name. His credits over this time are Neighbours, Tomorrow When the War Began, Rush, and Head On to name a few.
Likewise, he was able to classically train at VCA. Also, he has been instrumental in the course curriculum and teachings of Brave. He is a teacher as well and has been able to teach all levels from our Beginners Courses to the Advanced Classes over the past 10 years of Brave Studios.
Moreover, he loves his teaching career and adores his students a lot as well. And, we can see his wealth of knowledge and love of the craft in his teachings. He goes on to bring calmness and focus to the classroom and journey for each actor. He always provides a safe as well as inspiring space for all students to thrive.
Fotiou also has been running the self-test service at Brave Studios for over 10 years. He tries to bring out the best performances from actors ensuring they send their best takes forward to clients.
Through his hard work and help, many of his clients have resulted in winning roles both internationally and locally as well. He also has been able to receive extremely high feedback from all his clients including Actors, Agents, and Producers as they trust they are in the best hands for sending out solid, professional self-tests.
Furthermore, Damien is also a co-owner of “Greentree Acting School” in Footscray, Victoria. He has also been able to join the cast of “Neighbours” as Nick Petrides and made his first screen appearance in the year 2015. Also, in the year 2021, he recurred in the TV series “La Brea” as Judah.
He appeared as Johnny Lubich in the Australian comedy-drama TV series, “Good Guys, Bad Guys”. He then went on to star in the Australian science-fiction series, “Thunderstone”. Also back in 2022, he was able to play in the series, “The Secret Life of Us”.
Fotiou’s other TV series are The Saddle Club, Blue Heelers, Stingers, Scooter: Secret Agent, Kick, Underbelly, Rush, Neighbors, and La Bre. In the year 1998, he made his movie debut in “Head On”. Then, he went on to star in Favou Tous Ellines and Kangaroo Jack. His last movie until now is “The Book of Revelation”.
