In the mid-1990s, she was a commentator for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition. She served as a host of The Monica Crowley Show, a nationally syndicated radio show, since 2002 and is a regular contributor to The John Batchelor Show.
Additionally, she started working for Fox News Channel in 1996, where she was a foreign affairs and political analyst and occasionally substituted for Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel’s Hannity.
She co-hosted MSNBC’s Connected: Coast to Coast with Ron Reagan in 2004. The final episode aired on December 9, 2005, after a nine-month run. Crowley has also appeared on Imus in the Morning and hosted the MSNBC show The Best of Imus in the Morning.
Later, she returned to Fox News Channel as a contributor in the year 2007. From late 2007 to 2011, she was also a regular on The McLaughlin Group.
Crowley appeared on Fox News Channel’s late-night talk show Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld on occasion. She began working as a part-time consultant for Douglas Schoen in March 2017, providing “outreach services” on behalf of Ukrainian industrialist and political figure Victor Pinchuk. Moreover, this woman was required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 to register as a foreign agent.
Following Trump’s election victory, it was announced in December 2016 that Crowley would be the Trump administration’s deputy national security advisor.
On July 16, 2019, Trump announced Crowley’s appointment as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the Treasury Department. She replaced Tony Sayegh, who left the position in May, as the top spokeswoman for Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
