Early Life

Tate Buening was born on the 24th of February 2011, in Huntsville, Alabama, the United States. At the time of his death, he was just 10 years old boy. He held American nationality.

He was a young boy born to his parents Brian Buening (father) and Kayla White (mother). As a child, Tate was a joyful and very active child. His big heart, infectious smile, comedic personality, and kindness were contagious. He never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to make someone feel special.

Tate Buening – Education

Talking about his academic career, he attended Endeavor from kindergarten through 3rd grade. Later, he moved to Athens City Schools. Meanwhile, Tate was a student and was focused on his studies before getting murdered by his father.

Murder by his own father

On Friday morning, the 6th of August 2021, Law enforcement agencies responded to a home on the 200 block of Blue Creek Drive in Harvest Friday morning. Tate Buening, age 10, and Brian Buening, age 40, were discovered dead inside Buening’s Harvest home by Madison County police.

Initially, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office confirms the two victims died from gunshot wounds. According to the official, a family member made the welfare request and later HEMSI, Harvest Fire & Rescue, and Madison County Sheriff’s Office officials responded to the scene.

Tate’s mother, Kayla White, requested an emergency protection order against Buening a month earlier at the Madison County Circuit Court, claiming she was extremely concerned for her son’s safety because he was supposed to have a court-ordered visitation with Buening.

Tate’s mother, Kayla, was concerned for his security while he was in the custody of his father, Brian Buening. She contacted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office on August 6 to inquire about their welfare.

According to court records, Kayla claimed that Brian had PTSD, depression, a “history of suicidal ideations with two failed suicide attempts,” alcohol, and anger problems.

The case has now been dropped because Buening “carried out his threats and committed suicide and the minor.” But White is battling for justice. Will League, the lawyer for White, told a publication that by allowing White to knock on the door of her ex, who had allegedly threatened to kill her a few days earlier, the officer put White in a dangerous situation.

Relationship Status

Talking about his personal life, Tate Buening was a young boy and was not involved in any kind of relationship. Being a young boy, he was enjoying his childhood days and was spending time with his family and friends.

However, due to his parents’ dispute, he lost his life at such as young age. In addition, he was not a part of any kind of controversy or scandal till the time of his death.
