Early Life and Education
Wiaan Mulder was born Pieter Willem Adriaan Mulder on February 19, 1998. His birthplace is in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. His age is presently 26 years old (as of 2024).

College Career
As a student in the 2016–17 Sunfoil Series, Mulder made his first-class cricket debut for the Highveld Lions against the Cape Cobras at The Wanderers in October 2016.
In his first seven innings, he took seven wickets, including 3/10 in the Cobras’ opening inning. he competed for South Africa in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup before making his debut. His List A debut came in the 2016–17 Momentum One Day Cup and his Twenty20 (T20) debut came for the Highveld Lions in the CSA T20 Challenge in November 2016 and February 2017, respectively.
Additionally, he was included in the roster for the Highveld Lions team for the 2018–19 campaign in June 2018. He was included in the Gauteng team for the 2018 Africa T20 Cup in September of that year.
Mulder signed a contract with Kent County Cricket Club in May 2019 to compete in the 2019 English County Championship. Before being called back to the South African team in advance of their international schedule, he participated in three games for Kent.
He was added to the Tshwane Spartans team roster in September 2019 in preparation for the Mzansi Super League competition. Mulder signed a contract with Leicestershire County Cricket Club in January 2021 to play in the country of England’s domestic cricket.
He was included in Gauteng’s squad in April 2021, in time for the South African cricket season of 2021–2022. Mulder was signed by Leicestershire County Cricket Club in November 2021 to play for them in England in the 2022 season. Mulder made his first double century in first-class cricket in July 2022 while playing in the County Championship, finishing with 235 runs.
International Career
He was added to South Africa’s ODI squad in October 2017 for their series against Bangladesh, and on October 22, 2017, he made his international debut at the age of 18. He was included in South Africa’s Test squad for their series against Australia in February 2018, but he did not participate.
In addition, he was included in the Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their one-off match against Sri Lanka in August 2018, but he once again did not take part in the match. He was again selected for South Africa’s T20I squad in January 2019—this time for their series against Pakistan—but he did not participate.

Furthermore, Mulder was re-inducted into the South African team in February, this time for the Test series against Sri Lanka. On February 21st, 2019, he faced Sri Lanka in his first Test match.
Mulder was included in the South Africa T20I team in April 2021 for their series against Pakistan. On April 16, 2021, he played in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match for South Africa against Pakistan. Moreover, Mulder was selected for the South African team to compete in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in September 2021.
