Along with Jordan Witzigreuter (of The Ready Set) and Jess Bowen (drummer of The Summer Set), he makes up one-third of the indie pop trio Nekokat.

Additionally, he founded the band Twin XL in 2018 with The Summer Set’s Stephen and John Gomez. They have six singles and one full EP, How To Talk To Strangers, available as of 2021. Prior to this, the band went on tour with Jukebox The Ghost, The Mowglis, and I Don’t Know How But They Found Me for the Making Friends Tour of 2019. Early in 2021, Cameron and musician Jordan Witzigreuter founded Swim Team Records, a record label. The organization has showcased a wide range of musicians, including Future Coyote, TALKBACK, and Casey Abrams. The music from the label has been used to promote events like the PGA Tour.
