Early Life
Saket Gokhale was born in the year 1988, in Nasik, Mumbai. His age is 35 years old. He was born to his father Suhas Gokhale and his mother Neela Gokhale. Saket Gokhale began working as an English lecturer at Hampson CS s.r.o. in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, in April 2008. He served as an Independent Foreign Correspondent for Europe and South Asia starting in June 2008. Saket began working for Debtwire (a division of the Financial Times Group) as a South Asia correspondent in October 2009. Saket began working for Flarepath Digital in Mumbai as the Head of Brand Content Strategy in April 2014 and remained there for more than a year. Gokhale served as Creative Director and Head of Content (Digital Quotient) at HT Media Ltd. in New Delhi from July 2015 to February 2017.

He submitted a petition to the Allahabad High Court in 2020 asking for the suspension of the Bhoomi Poojan, or the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Ram temple in Ayodhya, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He objected to a 300-person gathering in one place because it violated the State and federal government’s policies on social distancing.
Later, his request was denied by the Allahabad High Court. Later, he made an appearance on a news program to voice his opposition to the Ram Mandir’s Ayodhya construction’s groundbreaking ceremony. He began receiving phone calls threatening his life from the BJP and RSS, according to his tweets.
In 2020, Saket Gokhale requested that the Bombay High Court direct the Ministry of Women & Child Development to remove Rekha Sharma as its chairperson in a petition. Saket claimed that she was spreading the anti-Muslim theory known as “love jihad.”
He expressed his concerns in writing to the Maharashtra Home Minister in 2021, asking how Fadnavis was able to purchase Remdesivir stock from Gujarat when the sale was only for the government. If Devendra Fadnavis, a BJP leader and former chief minister of Maharashtra, was found guilty, he demanded that an FIR be filed against him.
