Early Life
On the 29th of November 1961, Tom Sizemore was born in Detroit, Michigan, in the United States of America. At the age of 61, he passed away and held American nationality. His birth name is Thomas Edward Sizemore and has a zodiac sign of Sagittarius. Moreover, he belongs to a mixed ethnicity and has his belief in Christianity religion.
Following his family background, he was born to his father Thomas Edward Sizemore Sr., and his mother, Judith Sizemore. In addition, his father was a lawyer and philosophy professor.
While his mother was a member of the city of Detroit ombudsman staff. Additionally, he grew up with his three brothers, Paul Sizemore, Charlie Sizemore, and Aaron Sizemore.
Talking about his academic qualifications, he attended a local high school in Wayne, Michigan. Later, he enrolled at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he studied theater and earned a degree in English literature. In 1986, he earned his master’s degree at Temple University.
Tom Sizemore – Death
He suffered a brain aneurysm at his Los Angeles home on the 18th of February 2023. Meanwhile, he was hospitalized at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in critical condition.
On February 27, his representative, Charles Lago, stated that doctors had determined there was “no further hope and have recommended an end-of-life decision” to Sizemore’s family. Sizemore died at the age of 61 on the 3rd of March 2023.
Professional Career
Tom Sizemore started his acting career in the mid-1980s with small roles in films such as “Born on the Fourth of July” (1989) and “Lock Up” (1989). Moreover, he gained recognition for his performance in the 1991 film “Point Break,” in which he played a member of a gang of bank robbers. After this, he went on to appear in several films throughout the 1990s, including “True Romance” (1993), “Heat” (1993), and “Natural Born Killers” (1994).
In 1998, Sizemore received critical acclaim for his role as Sergeant Horvath in Steven Spielberg’s “Saving Private Ryan.” He also appeared in the war film “Black Hawk Down” in 2001.
During his 2000s, he starred in the films; Pearl Harbor (2001), “Ticker” (2001), “Robbery Homicide Division” (2001), “Paparazzi” (2004), “Swindle” (2006), “The Genius Club” (2006), “Splinter” (2007), “Shooting Sizemore” (2007), “Oranges” (2007), “Red” (2008), “American Son” (2008), “The Last Lullaby” (2008), “The Flyboys” (2008), Stiletto (2008), and Toxic (2008).
He also starred in five episodes of the television series “Crash” (2008–2009), and he appeared in the comedy film “Super Capers” in 2009. Meanwhile, he was cast in the horror film “Murder 101” (2014) and co-starred in the comedy-drama film “Chlorine” (2013). In an episode of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (2010), he appeared as Byron the Trucker.

Throughout his life, he has struggled with drug addiction. Meanwhile, he has been to rehab multiple times and has been open about his struggles with addiction in interviews.
Moreover, he has been involved in several legal issues, including domestic violence charges and drug-related charges. In 2003, he was convicted of physically abusing his then-girlfriend, actress Heidi Fleiss, and was sentenced to six months in jail.
