Death of Kenny Rogers
The news broke on March 20, 2020. Kenny Rogers passed away while he was under hospice care at his home in Sandy Springs, Georgia, as stated by a representative for the singer. The country singer passed away aged 81 due to natural causes.
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, his family plans to have a small private service with a public memorial planned for a later date.
Kenny’s 4th wife, Marianne Gordon remembers him as a loving husband who had his full attention on his then-wife. She is also mourning the loss of her ex-husband along with the whole world. Gordon reminds the world how good a person Kenny was. She says:

The lovers’ 23 years of togetherness seems like a story straight out of a fairy tale. However, they had to face some hardships due to their vast age difference of 28 years. Kenny Rogers was two years older than her parents!
To start from very beginning, Kenny and she first met in Atlanta. It was by chance when Kenny was out on a blind date at a hotel where she worked as a hostess.
Rogers was instantly smitten by her and soon after the first incident, Kenny contacted the restaurant, asked them about her, and finally called her. The pair met each other and sparks flew, which resulted in dating for five years before their marriage in the year 1997.
