Early Life
Eric Whitney, professionally known as Ghostemane or Eric Ghoste was born on the 15th of April 1991, in Lake Worth, Florida, the United States of America. According to his date of birth, he is 32 years old and holds American nationality. He has a birth sign of Aries and believes in Christianity by religion.

His parents had moved to Florida from New York a year before his birth. Professionally, his father is a phlebotomist. He grew up with a brother whose name is unknown. The family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, shortly after he was born. From his childhood day, he was a hardcore music lover and listened to hardcore punk rock when he was growing up. He also grew fascinated with music and began attending guitar classes.
Education and Early Career
Talking about his academic career, he was also an excellent student and consistently scored high grades in school. After finishing his primary schooling, he enrolled at a well-known university in the United States after scoring a high GPA in high school.
Ghostemane completed his graduation from the university after studying astrophysics. He did, however, continue to perform in several doom metal bands, including ‘Nemesis’ and ‘Seven Serpents.’ Eric began to concentrate on making money after graduating from college. He began working at a call center.
Eventually, he acquired a high-profile job. Throughout, he was unable to get music out of his system. Moreover, he moved to Los Angeles, California in 2015 after struggling musically in Southern Florida. He also quit his job. Later, he joined JGRXXN’s collective Schemaposse, which includes Craig Xen and Lil Peep, after meeting him. He left Schemaposse in April 2016, following only a year with the company.

Professional Career
Regarding his musical career, Ghostemane released his self-produced album “Blackmage,” and his first cinematic music video with his single “John Dee.” He eventually began working with fellow Florida rapper Pouya, who collaborated with Ghostemane on the video for “1000 Rounds” in April 2017.
The video rapidly went viral, with over 29 million views as of May 2021. TRASH GANG, an art collective, made and released a 1930s cartoon cut music video for his song “Mercury: Retrograde” in late 2017.
Snow White, a Betty Boop short from 1933, featured Cab Calloway as Koko performing St. James Infirmary. Since then, the video has had over 419 million views, making it his most popular single.

In October 2018, this singer collaborated with Zubin to release the song Broken. He also released his seventh studio album, N/O/I/S/E, in 2018, with many of the songs influenced by industrial metal, nu-metal, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, and Nine Inch Nails.
In May 2020, he announced his most recent project, Baader-Meinhof, a lo-fi black metal band of which he is the sole member. He is also the only producer of his ex-fiancée Poppy’s upcoming Christmas EP, A Very Poppy Christmas, which was released in December 2020. His “AI” music video, created by Nick Cinelli, was nominated for Most Bizarre at the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2021.

Regarding his personal life, he is currently engaged with American model, Skye Boysen aka Skyefires. The pair started dating in October 2019, and in July 2020, Poppy announced on social media that the two were engaged. In late 2021, the pair split and broke off their engagement.
